Growing up in the southern suburbs of South Australia, Albert began his career in the entertainment industry from the age of eight and has been working as a ‘self taught’ professional since 1992. From hosting Channel Nine’s Here’s Humphrey (1993-96), touring around Australia and Overseas with cabaret shows, corporate events, Disney and Warner Brothers; an impersonator, suit character worker, voice over artist, emcee, dancer, singer and actor, he has acquired a vast knowledge of the performing arts industry.
In 1998, he turned his hand to writing, directing, and producing a slate of film/theatre projects, and operated as an actor’s agent between 2004-2008. He has won script writing competitions, short films screened in festivals, and has written numerous promotional articles for newspapers, magazines, newsletters and radio.
He is currently the President of JamaeRaw School of the Arts (a non-profit performing arts school in Willunga, South Australia), allowing him to share his acquired knowledge with local talent; including script writing workshops and script editing.
Now Albert is harnessing all those years of experience in the form of a consultancy service for others embarking on productions.
